We collect information required to provide ride-hailing, delivery and payment services, and to operate the App.

Account information: name, phone number, email, profile photo (when you upload one).
Location data: real-time location while using rides or delivery features and approximate location when the app is idle to improve matching.
Payment & transaction data: payment method token, transaction history, billing address, receipts for purchases (data/airtime, cable, bills).
Communications: in-app messages, support requests, and any files (photos, videos) you voluntarily upload for verification or support.
Device & usage data: device model, OS version, app version, crash reports, analytics data and IP address.

2. How we use data

To provide and improve core services: match riders, dispatch orders, show trip status, and complete transactions.
For identity and safety: verify accounts, store delivery proofs, investigate incidents and prevent fraud.
For payments: process purchases, issue receipts and handle refunds.
For support and communications: respond to support requests and send important notices.
For analytics and product improvement: measure performance, detect crashes, and improve the user experience.

3. App permissions

The App requests only the permissions necessary for features you choose to use. Below are key permissions and their purpose.

Location

Used to detect your pickup and drop-off points and to enable real-time trip tracking. Location is accessed only while the app runs or as permitted by your device settings.

READ_MEDIA_IMAGES

Ai Express uses this permission only when you explicitly select an image to upload — for example, a profile picture or proof of delivery. We do not access or scan other images on your device.

READ_MEDIA_VIDEO

Ai Express uses this permission only when you explicitly select a video to upload for support or verification. We do not scan or access other videos on your device.

Camera

If you allow camera access, the app can capture photos or videos that you choose to upload as delivery proof or for verification.

Notifications

Used to send trip updates, receipts and important account notices. You can disable notifications in your device settings.

4. Sharing & third parties

We share data only as necessary to provide services or as required by law.

Service providers: payment processors, cloud hosting, analytics and crash reporting vendors that act on our behalf.
With riders and vendors: when you request a ride or delivery we share limited details (name, pickup location) with the assigned rider.
Legal requests: we may disclose data to comply with laws, subpoenas, or to respond to safety incidents.

5. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission, access controls and secure storage. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach occurs we will notify affected users and authorities as required by law.

6. Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Usage logs and analytics are retained in anonymized form when possible.
